Stopping the Pop-up Notification Process

The Pop-Up Notification is started automatically when you login to the operating system. To stop the Pop-Up Notification, follow these steps, based on your operating system.

Windows Operating System

1.

Go to the command prompt.

2.

Go to the <MSM_INSTALLATION_FOLDER>\MegaPopup directory.

3.

Run the command popup -stop.

Linux Operating System

1.

Go to the console.

2.

Go to the <MSM_INSTALLATION_FOLDER>/MegaPopup directory.

3.

Run the script shutdownpopup.sh in the console.

Solaris X86 Operating System

1.

Go to the console.

2.

Go to the <MSM_INSTALLATION_FOLDER>/MegaPopup directory.

3.

Run the script shutdownpopup.sh in the console.

Solaris SPARC Operating System

1.

Go to the console.

2.

Go to the <MSM_INSTALLATION_FOLDER>/MegaPopup directory.

3.

Run the script shutdownpopup.sh in the console.
