Installing SNMP on the Solaris Operating System

Perform these steps to install the SNMP on the Solaris operating system:

1.	Unzip the Avago SAS SNMP Agent package.

2.	Run the install script by executing the following command:

# ./install.sh

NOTE  The installation will exit if any existing versions of the storelib and sassnmp utilities are installed on the Solaris machine. Uninstall the existing version by using the following commands:

# pkgrm Storelib (to uninstall Storelib library)

# pkgrm sassnmp (to uninstall the Avago SAS SNMP Agent)

After you install the Avago SAS SNMP Agent package, the LSI-AdapterSAS.mib MIB file is installed in the /etc/lsi_mrdsnmp/sas directory.
