Monitoring Server Events and Devices

The MegaRAID Storage Manager software enables you to monitor the activity and performance of all of the controllers in the system and the storage devices connected to them. When an event occurs (such as the creation of a new virtual drive or the removal of a drive) an event message appears in the log at the bottom of the MegaRAID Storage Manager main menu.

You can use the MegaRAID Storage Manager software to alert you about these events. Settings are available for the delivery of alerts, the severity level of events, the exceptions, and the email settings.
